The “Front Office – Reservations” seminar includes basic knowledge and skills for existing or potential employees in the reception department of a hotel business. The seminar helps familiarize the participants with the basic procedures and functions of the reception with the ultimate goal of providing efficient service to the guests of the hospitality units.
This specific seminar aims to meet the needs for education and training of specialized personnel related to tourism businesses, and more specifically in the Reception-Reservations department. The growing tourist stream in our country has created the need to staff tourist businesses with well-qualified people, able to manage in practice the respective clientele and undertake all the necessary tasks.
To students and graduates of Tourism schools.
To those who wish to work as a Receptionist or in the reservations department in any kind of Hotel Unit or Tourist Accommodation.
To any interested party (e.g. freelancer – owner of a tourist unit, employee of a tourist business, etc.) who wishes to expand his knowledge about the effective operation of a Tourist Unit.
After completing the program the students will be able to:
A. Work at the Reception of hotel units or other tourist accommodations having knowledge of the duties of the position.
B. Have an image of using the various software and web tools used in this position.
